Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure (Ministry VROMI), over the weekend was busy carrying out a number of road safety enhance measures such as the application of road markings; repair of potholes and repairs to bridges.
Minister of VROMI Hon. Maurice Lake says the maintenance works underway is part of his back to basics approach of making sure the country’s infrastructure is up to par. "We shouldn’t wait for things to break; we need to be pro-active because by being pro-active we save the tax payer money," Minister Lake said on Monday.
