Minister of Education, Culture, Youth Affairs and Sports Hon. Patricia Lourens-Philip visited the Youth Baseball Camp over the weekend that was organized by Rene Leveret and Friends.
Rene Leveret is a local turned professional player for the Canadian League.
The group of players is professionals from Sint Maarten and other countries catered to 200 youthful enthusiast.
Minister Hon. Patricia Lourens-Philip was very proud to see the professional athletes especially Leveret who attended the St. Maarten Academy School where the minister at one time was Principal.
Ministry ECYS assisted with the purchasing of lunch packs for the youths in attendance over the two-day camp.
