Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure (Ministry VROMI), hereby announces that several road infrastructure activities will be taking place on 14, 15 and 16 February.
On Friday morning February 14, Front Street from Hotel Steeg to Hendrik Straat on Back Street by Jan Steeg, road work activities will be taking place from 6.00am to 7.00am.
On Saturday 15 February, vehicular traffic from Simpson Bay round-a-bout via the Causeway to the Cole Bay round-a-bout will be disrupted from 6.00am to 8.00am in connection with maintenance to the bridge.
On Sunday, 16 February at the intersection Welfare Road – Waterfront Road, Cole Bay, vehicular traffic in this area will be effected due to maintenance to be carried out on the drainage system.
Motorists are requested to be vigilant and observant for the traffic directional signs indicating what works are underway in the respective areas.
Motorists and pedestrians are also advised that it is against the law for tampering or removing a traffic barricade or any other piece of government property.
