Minister Plenipotentiary Hon. Mathias Voges received a courtesy visit from the Ambassador of the Republic of El Salvador Hon. Vladimiro PVillalta. The Ambassador stated that it was the intention of his country to develop closer ties of friendship and cooperation with St. Maarten.
The Ambassador is also making preparations into the possibility for his Minister of Foreign Affairs Hon. Jaime Miranda to visit Sint Maarten.
On the 14th of February there will be a meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS) that will be held in Trinidad & Tobago, where the Ambassador hopes to have a bilateral meeting with the representatives of Aruba, Curacao and Sint Maarten who are observers at the ACS.
