Recently Graduated Criminal Lawyer Caroline Gibbes Presents Final Project to PM During Courtesy Call

Recently Graduated Criminal Lawyer and daughter of the soil Caroline Gibbes presented her final project to the Prime Minister of St. Maarten the Honorable Prime Minister during a courtesy visit to the Prime Minister’s Cabinet on Friday.

 

After completing VWO at Milton Peters College, Ms. Gibbes attended Leiden University where she graduated in an undergraduate degree in law and subsequently successfully completed to Master’s Degrees, one in Criminal law and the other in Corporate law.

"During my study at Leiden University I met many interesting people and made some great friends. I also worked as a S4 mentor in Leiden for 2 years. Because of the rapidly changing technology, it is hard to predict what the next legal trend will be. I would love to work in St. Maarten if I get the opportunity because St. Maarten is where I was born and I would love to work and serve my country," commented Ms. Gibbes.

Prime Minister Wescot-Williams congratulated Ms. Gibbes and wished her much success; "I would like to not only congratulate but also thank Caroline for the excellent work she has done and would like to urge students who have departed for the Netherlands some one month ago to use her as an example of what can be achieved with dedication and focus," commented the Prime Minister.

Caroline Gibbes is the daughter of well-known television show host Oral Gibbes.
