CENTRALE BANK VAN CURAÇAO EN ST.AARTEN ANNOUNCES THREE NEW BOND ISSUES ON BEHALF OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE COUNTRY OF SINT MAARTEN

Willemstad – On Monday, June 2, 2014, there will be three bond issues on behalf of the country of
Sint Maarten. These three bonds will have semi-annual coupons and can be specified as follow:
• 2.25% NAf 60,000,000 bond issue with a duration of 15 years;
• 2.375% NAf 45,400,000 bond issue with a duration of 20 years;
• 2.45% NAf 40,000,000 bond issue with a duration of 30 years.
On Wednesday, May 21, 2014, the Dutch State Treasury Agency (DSTA) will be able to subscribe
and up to Friday, May 23, 2014, 10:00 A.M., the general public will be able to subscribe to these
bonds issues at all commercial banks on Curaçao and Sint Maarten. Subscription will take place
according to the tender system, in which parties indicate for which amount and price they wish to
participate in the loan, thereby revealing their desired yield.
After the closing of the subscription, the Centrale Bank van Curaçao en Sint Maarten will publish
the prices of issue. Parties that have subscribed for a higher price than the price of the respective
bond issues will receive full allocation. Parties that have subscribed at a price equal to the price of
the respective bond issues will receive the remaining amount of the respective bond issues.
As of May 19, 2014, subscription forms will be obtainable free of charge at the commercial banks
and on our website www.centralbank.cw/government-loans.
