Immigration & Border Protection Service To Change Permit Fees

The Director of the Immigration and Border Protection Service (IBP) would like to inform the public that with the ratification of the National Ordinance of 30th January 2014, amending the National Ordinance on Admission and Expulsion and the Fee Ordinance (AB 2014, no.23), the new fees for temporary and permanent residence permits and other related declarations will go into effect within short.

All new applications for residence permits and other related products will be subject to the fees mentioned in the ordinance. This includes a cost of NAF 500 for a first time application for temporary residence for an adult and NAF 200 for a child (under 18 years).

It is important to note that all applications that have already been submitted prior to the date in which the law goes into effect, and currently being processed by the IBP, will not be subject to the new fees.

A new brochure ‘Guide to Payment’ listing the new fees as well as the payment procedure will be available for download on www.sintmaartengov.org and can also be picked up at the Admittance and Residency Office on the A. Th. Illidge road.
