Ambulance Department makes Investment in Storavox Voice Logging & Recording System

A voice logging and recording system has been recently installed at the Ambulance Dispatch Center, which will record all incoming and outgoing radio and telephone communication

Minister of Public Health Social Development & Labor, Cornelius De Weever mentioned that in an effort to continue to further professionalize the operations of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) on St. Maarten, this system was installed, whereby all incoming and outgoing calls will be recorded automatically, which can assist with complaints, verification and quality of service

"I intend to implement this system in other departments to achieve the same goals," said Minister De Weever.

Storavox is one of the most flexible voice logging and quality monitoring solutions on the market . It enables organizations to register, all interactions by telephone, radio, or PC for archiving, playing, evaluating and analyzing.

The Storavox provides a complete web-based control for Last Call Repeat Playback, Reporting and Management . The operation is done over a secure connection and all withdrawals are immediately accessible through a query of the user-friendly structure .

The recordings are provided with as much relevant metadata for quick and easy retrieval of recordings including date, time, call duration, channel recording, caller ID, dialed number, labels and notes by user.

The web interface provides a standard Last Call Repeat function that allows users to listen to the latest recordings . With a web-based application it provides an integrated tool for incident reconstruction with graphic display of images on selected channels per time period. The voice logging and recording system has been built by Bumicom Telecommunications Ltd in the Netherlands, a company with over 30 years’ experience in providing Voice Logging and Quality Monitoring solutions. The investment cost for the system including installation amounts to approximately Naf. 20.000,00.

This investment would be an added value and will certainly enhance further professionalizing of the Ambulance Dispatch Center and provides for quality assurance of the dispatchers. Management of the Ambulance Department is very pleased with this milestone achievement.
