Prime Minister Receives Courtesy Visit from New Public Prosecutor E.W Noordhoek

The Prime Minister of St. Maarten the Honorable Sarah Wescot-Williams received a courtesy visit by Mr. E.W Noordhoek the New Head Public Prosecutor for St. Maarten. Mr. Noordhoek was nominated by the Kingdom Council of Ministers under The National Council of Ministers, at the proposal of the Minister of Security and Justice decided to nominate him upon suggestion of Minister of Security and Justice of the Kingdom Ivo Willem Opstelten. Noordhoek (1958) began his work on St. Maarten as of January 2014 at the Court of First Instance of Sint Maarten. He was previously a senior officer at the Prosecutor’s Office in The Hague and national public prosecutor at the Functional Court in The Hague where he was responsible for combating money laundering and terrorism financing. Prime Minister Wescot-Williams welcomed Noordhoek and wished him much success with his new function on St. Maarten.
