Central Committee Meeting for Tuesday about Regent parliamentary session

A Central Committee session of the House of Parliament is scheduled for November 26 regarding the appointment of the Regent.

The public session is set for Tuesday at 1.30pm in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelmina Straat #1 in Philipsburg.

The agenda point is a discussion related to a collaborated parliamentary session of the parliaments of Aruba, Curacao, Sint Maarten and the Netherlands for 3rd December about the appointment via Kingdom Law of Queen Maxima as queen regent to Princess Amalia in the event King Willem-Alexander is unable to carry out his duties and the princess has not reached the age of 18.

The proposal requires the approval of all four parliaments of the Kingdom.

Members of the public are invited to the House of Parliament to attend parliamentary deliberations.

The House of Parliament is located across from the Court House in Philipsburg.
