Prime Minister Attends Lunch Celebrating Elderly on St. Maarten

The Prime Minister of St. Maarten the Honorable Sarah Wescot-Williams attended a celebratory lunch at Lago Heights in St. Louis showing appreciation for the elderly on St. Maarten. The Prime Minister thanked those in attendance for their contribution to St. Maarten and making it the country, which it is.

"I want to congratulate the Rambaud, St. Louis, Free Town Association for bringing all of the Young at Heart together for this wonderful occasion.

As my itinerary was planned for the Netherlands I made it a point that my travel was adjusted so that I could be there. There are few groups that bring together both sides of the island to celebrate the elderly; there should be no borders on the island that we both love. I want to say thank you to all that are there for their contribution to this island. You have made it possible for us to be proud of this island and it is because of the Foundation that you have created. Let us instill a sense of patriotism to ensure that we all unite as a people because it is part of this unity. I would not have missed this opportunity for the world and thank you for allowing me to be here.
