As we celebrate an historic event of the Inauguration of the King, different activities within the Kingdom will be organized. On Friday, April 26 across the Netherlands and within the Caribbean countries of the Kingdom, King’s Games will be organized. The games and other sporting activities will include a Soccer Tournament, a Walk-a-thon & Bike-A-Thon.
The King’s Games will be a fun and enjoyable day for all children in our primary schools. During the King’s Games a healthy, but above all festive King’s Breakfast will served to the all primary school participants who will also be honored with a special T-shirt and certificate.
For persons who would like to volunteer and for those who have already signed up to volunteer a meeting will be held on Monday, April 22nd 2013 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at the Claude Wathey Legislative Hall of the Government Administration Building, Philipsburg.
The King’s Games are being organized by a special committee within the Department of Sports. To ensure a successful event, volunteers are needed to assist with the organizing of these Games. Assistance is needed from 7.30 am until 2.30 pm.
