Starting April 5th InselAir will add a Tuesday flight between St. Maarten and San Juan.
With this third weekly flight, connections between San Juan and St. Maarten are available on Sunday, Friday and Tuesday. The new Tuesday flight also makes it possible to connect to Medellin, Colombia.
The two-weekly flights between St. Maarten and Puerto Rico started in April, 2009 and are now expanding due to high demand. Puerto Rico and St. Maarten are beautiful destinations for a short stay, but also islands with great business possibilities. Connections are possible throughout the InselAir network, to which Charlotte, a US Airways hub, will be added as a new destination this summer.
A special weekend fare of $177 is available for weekend trips between San Juan and St. Maarten. Normal fares start at $265, including all taxes except airport (transfer) tax.
According to Edward Heerenveen, Chief International & General Affairs InselAir, InselAir will focus on creating a bigger brand awareness within the Pan-American region with destinations such as Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Haiti, Jamaica, Las Piedras, Medellin, Miami, Puerto Rico, Santo Domingo, St. Maarten, Suriname and Valencia.
