The Prime Minister of St. Maarten the Honorable Sarah Wescot-Williams received a courtesy call from the new director of Kingdom Relations at the Dutch Ministry of Kingdom Relations and Home Affairs BZK Mr. Erwin Arkenbout. Mr. Arkenbout (seated left), who visited the PM with members of his delegation, used to be a Legal Counsel at the Cabinet of the former Lt. Governor Mr. Franklyn Richards. He also was the head the Administrative Jurisdiction Department of the Council of State. Arkenbout’s appointment went into effect on September 1, 2012 and this is his first visit to St. Maarten since his appointment. The PM commented that she looks forward to a close working relationship with Mr. Arkenbout in his new function.
