Members of the U.S. Forward Operating Location (U.S. FOL) took up a collection in order to help school children in Curaçao. They donated $250 worth of school supplies to the Felisidat Espasio Libertat I Speransa (FELIS) Foundation. The gift consisted of paper, pencils, pens, crayons, markers, writing tablets, tape, glue and snacks for the children. Gerda van Petersen, FELIS Foundation’s Co-Director, was very moved by the donation. "Thank you so much! We never expected to receive anything like this. This is wonderful!" U.S. FOL personnel have long been advocates for the local community. This was one of many outstanding efforts to promote the welfare of Curacao’s youngest members.
