The SXM Advisory Board of Funding Agency Samenwerkende Fondsen/ Cooperating Foundations of the Dutch Caribbean is hosting a information session on Saturday, 31st March 2012 from 10:00 to 12:00 am. The venue will be in the Drama class room of the St. Dominic High School in South Reward.
Who is Cooperating Foundations?
Cooperating Foundations is, a collaboration between 5 Dutch funding agencies, namely Skanfonds, Oranje Fonds, Stichting Kinderpostzegels, Fonds Sluytermans van Loo and Innovatiefonds Zorgverzekeraars. Aiming at strengthening society and living up to the motto "Together we participate, together we are stronger", the collaborating Funding Agencies strive to support projects in the Dutch Caribbean that focus on community development, or target children, youngsters and senior citizens. Other focal points are: poverty alleviation, relief for vulnerable groups and projects catering to volunteers and persons with a handicap or a chronic disease.
Session
Cooperating Foundations will be organizing a workshop to familiarize foundations and associations of St. Maarten with formulating their Project Plans with which they can approach Cooperating Foundations for funding. At the end of the session there will also be a possibility to interact with the members of the Advisory Board.
