St. Maarten Cable TV will open a new Simpson Bay location before the end of March to accommodate customers who must switch to its digital service. The location was originally scheduled to open on March 5, 2012; however, there has been a delay due to connectivity issues, which will affect the operations.
The new location will be the Mail Box at the Palapa Center, across from RBTT Bank, at Simpson Bay. Customer service representatives will be available to process digital swaps, new accounts and other digital inquiries. The location at the Mailbox will only process bank cards transactions (credit or debit cards) or check payments. Hours of operation at this location are Monday to Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Beulah Jonis, Managing Director for St. Maarten Cable TV stated, "We apologize for any inconvenience the delay may have caused and we will provide an update via the media when the location is ready."
