On Friday October 1st 2010, the KPNA celebrated it’s 61st Anniversay of existance and at the same time the end of the KPNA, due to the fact that St.Maarten will soon become Country St.Maarten, which has a new beginning for St.Maarten’s Police Force as they will be known as the Korps Politie St.Maarten (KPS).
This milestone event was held in the Roman Catholic Church, which was followed by the Police Force and other Judiciary Departments marching through the streets of Philipsburg.
