DHAKA, Bangladesh – West Indies Under-19 captain Shimron Hetmyerspoke to WICB Media today ahead of the Final in the ICC Youth World Cup against India Under-19s tomorrow (tonight – East Caribbean Time) at the Sher-e-BanglaStadium. The match will shown “live” on ESPN Caribbean.

The Windies Under-19s has not looked back since a 61-run defeat to England Under-19s in the opening match, having beaten Fiji and Zimbabwe in the group stage to qualify for the quarter-finals.

Hetmyer’s side reserved its best for the knockout rounds, first stunning Pakistan by five wickets before ending host Bangladesh’s dream with a thrilling three-wicket win in last Thursday’s semi-final.

Hetmyer, Shamar Springer and the hard-hitting Gidron Pope starred in both the run-chases, while Alzarri Joseph’s fiery spells – often being timed at above 145kph – along with the accuracy of ChemarHolder and Keemo Paul have been telling in putting opposition batting under pressure.
