The St. Maarten Amateur Athletic Association in collaboration with the National Sports Institute will be hosting the first Age Group Interscholastic tournament.
This event will take place on SATURDAY January 28th 2017. Location: Raoul Illidge Sports Complex.
Time: 4:00 Pm to 9:00 PM.
Categories.
- Ages 10/11 Date of Birth 2006 – 2007
- Ages 12/13 Date of Birth 2004 – 2005
- Ages 14/15 Date of Birth 2002 – 2003
Age group competition means all athletes taking part must compete in 4 different events. Mainly a Sprint – throw – jump and distance run. The best two athletes Male & Female scoring the best performance will represent St. Maarten against Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao.
Invitation goes out to all schools: asking them to sign up their best two boys and two Girls for this event. Information list must be in before January 20th 2017. At the National Sports Institutes Head Office in Cay Hill.
Ø The week end will be filled with entertainment: Music – Food and Snacks will be available. Come out enjoy the week end. And the Youths.

The Lab Sports Academy will be Hosting the 16th Annual Oyster bay Youth Tennis championship.
Ø Date: 27th 28th & 29th January 2017:
Ø Location: Raoul Illidge Sports Complex: Tennis Paviljon.
Ø TIME: Friday evening Sign up at 7:00 PM. Saturday and Sunday Daily 10 AM to 4:00 PM.
Finals will be played on Sunday. Prize giving at 4:00 PM.
CATEGORIES: Beginners – 10 & Under – 13 & Under – 15 & Under
& Open Class.
FORMAT of Play.
ROUND ROBBIN STYLE FOLLOWED BY SEMIES & FINALS.
ALL WINNERS RECEIVES THROPHIES.
