First international training exchange for Oualichi WSA
Princess Juliana International Airport- On Saturday 13th of August, youth coach Dagmar Daal and U15 Sint Maarten national player Michele Palella, traveled to Belgium for the Progress Sports Summer Soccer Camp. During the Oualichi International Summer Soccer Camp that took place last year in July, Michele Palella won a spot to train at the professional Belgian football camp. The camp in Belgium will consist of a week of trainings and social activities that will end on Friday 19th of August. Local and International coaches are part of the program and Ms. Dagmar Daal, head youth coach for Oualichi, will be amongst the international coaches who will be exchanging knowledge and expertise and also training the kids. This is the first time the Oualichi Women’s Soccer Association sends a player and a coach as part of their program to develop local players and also to have a platform for female coaches to progress in the football world. Oualichi will continue this project for next year’s camp and Alejandra Corona who won the spot during the recent Oualichi summer soccer camp will be the first female youth player that Oualichi WSA will send to Belgium next year.
