Governor of St. Maarten visit Navy and Coast Guard in Curacao

The Governor of St.Maarten Eugene Bernard Holiday, visited the Commander Navy and Coast Guard Caribbean Caribbean in Curacao.

 

Both organizations seized the opportunity to commend the Governor through briefings to discuss the latest developments and state of play of the Navy and Coast Guard.

The Governor was received with great ceremony by the Commander Navy Caribbean, Brigadier General of Marines Dick Swijgman.

An armed guard of the Army Company and a drummer and piper of the Marine Corps welcomed the authority’s staff hill at the Naval Base Parera.

After a tour of the naval base – which also the Coastguard and Coastguard Centre were visited – and a joint lunch, the Governor departed the same day to Sint Maarten.
