The analysis and projections contained in the report highlights the critical parts of the department’s observation and monitoring of economic developments and policies in St. Maarten as well as internationally.
The analysis, projections and policies are the product of a comprehensive interdepartmental review of world economic developments, which draws primarily on information received from key Government Departments and external stakeholders.
Projections were also based on results generated by the department Macro-Economic Model.
Special points of interest in the report are tourism data, balance of payments info and Gross Domestic Product. Besides the aforementioned, it contains assumptions and conventions, international, external, fiscal, and monetary sectors, prognosis/conclusion, and appendix and tables.
