Resigned minister Henk Kamp of Social Affairs & Labour pays a working visit to the Dutch Caribbean

From May 6th till May 11th 2012 resigned minister Henk Kamp pays a working visit to the Dutch Caribbean. At the constitutional changes in 2010 former minister Donner made the appointment that the minister of social affairs and labour would come to the Caribbean for consultation every year.

The minister will visit Saba, St. Eustatius and Bonaire in succession. He will meet the island governors, executive councils, the island councils and representatives of different organizations.

On Saba Kamp visits a.o. secundary education and the project "werkmeester". On St. Eustatius a visit to the Centre Youth and Family and day care centre the Buzzy Bees are scheduled.

On Bonaire the minister pays a visit to Kresh Kuchi Kuchi and he will take part in a public meeting with the island council.

The Dutch Caribbean is not uncharted territory for Kamp. From 2008 till 10-10-10 he was Commissioner for Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba.
