On Monday April 23rd 2012 at approximately 06.00 p.m., a Junior Officer (Bavpol) in the local police force with the initials E.V. has been detained and is been held in custody as a suspect in an ongoing criminal investigation, which was committed in the year 2009. At the initial complaint that was done there was no obvious link between the criminal offense and this person. As a result of the persistent investigation and a new investigative method within the department (case screening) done by the Detectives and Police Internal Affairs E.V. was identified as a suspect of a crime committed prior to his enrolment into the police force. E.V. in the meanwhile has been suspended from carrying-out his duties awaiting the results of the investigation.
