The planned town hall meeting on Conservation Areas has been postponed until further notice. It was scheduled for Wednesday, March 14 at the Belair Community Centre. A new date will be set for the meeting.
Government is in the process of drafting development plans that will take approximately 24 months to be completed, and the aforementioned plans will guide the future spatial development of the country where it relates to government and private land.
The first two draft plans identified are Simpson Bay (includes Beacon Hill, Simpson Bay Lagoon) and Conservation areas (hilltops, Emilio Wilson Estate, Bishop Hill Plantation, Geneve Bay).
The first town hall meeting was held in Simpson Bay on March 8.
