The St. Maarten Childfest Foundation has announced that the Super Childfest Raffle will be drawn in the presence of a notary at Arts Video Studio (AVS) on Thursday, June 30 at 11:30am.
The winners will be announced in the press on Friday, Foundation President former First Lady Angela Richards-Huggins said on Tuesday. She urged supporters to keep their tickets close.
The drawing of the raffle had been postponed to give the public more time to purchase tickets to win one of the three prizes while supporting a worthy cause.
The raffle was originally scheduled to be drawn at the end of the Childfest fifth Annual Family Fun Day on Sunday, May 15.
First prize is a Cruise for family of four and four airline tickets. Second prize is a one week in a two bedroom suite in Orlando, Florida USA and third prize is a one-week stay in a two bedroom suite in Panama. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated towards the Childfest pool of funds that goes to underprivileged children in the community. Tickets cost US $10 each and are available from any Childfest Foundation board member.
