On Sunday March 12th at approximately 04.00 a.m. several police patrols were sent to Peppermint drive behind the former Cake House Building in Cay Hill for a case of ill treatment. On the scene the investigating officers spoke to the victim with the initials D.M. who stated having problems with the suspect with initial C. During an argument between them shortly before which broke out into a fight, the suspect broke a bottle a severely injuring the victim in his face an back. After committing the act the suspects fled the scene. The victim was treated on the scene by the paramedics and then transported to the Sint Maarten Medical Center for further treatment and for observation.
