Great Bay, St. Maarten – It was more a reunion of friends when St. Martin Broadway star and Cultural Ambassador, Nicole de Weever paid a courtesy call on Minister of Culture, Rhoda Arrindell, in her office Tuesday afternoon.
"Congratulations! We’re all so proud of you," exclaimed the Minister as she embraced Nicole de Weever, who is back home on a well-deserved R & R, following her year-long appearance as a featured dancer in the Tony Award winning, hit Broadway musical, FELA!
For her part, Nicole also congratulated Minister Rhoda on her appointment as a member of the first Cabinet of Ministers of St. Martin.
"Your success is an inspiration for all the other young talents we have on the island. When they see you, they too can dream of making it to the top," Minister Arrindell told the dancing star.
