NAGICO Insurances employees fulfilled a long awaited wish of the Philipsburg St. Maarten Jubilee Library on Sunday April 12th, by giving them a complete makeover with the repainting of their parking lot lines courtesy of a group of volunteering NAGICO staff.
“This job was long overdue,” said Ms. Monique Alberts the Director of the Jubilee Library. “Due to lack of funds the Library was unable to carry the task out.”
She mentioned that when coordinators of the NAGICO Shining Star program; Tamara James and Jamie-Lee Peterson, contacted the Library to offer their assistance the Library was ecstatic and immediately jumped at the opportunity.
The NAGICO team arrived at the library at 8am sharp, willing and ready to work. The project was completed within three hours; this consisted mainly of repainting the lines for the parking area.
NAGICO Insurances has offered their assistance in any other future Library projects and conveyed how proud they were to be giving back to their community.
