Managing Director and COO of NV GEBE, Mr. Romelio Maduro, welcomed the incoming CFO, Mr. Rene Gartner as the newest member to the Managing Board of NV GEBE, on Wednesday, September 03, 2014.
Mr. Gartner, a Curacao born native with familial ties to St. Maarten, brings vast financial experience to NV GEBE. Over the past 20 years, Mr. Gartner has worked primarily in the banking sector in the US, Holland and Curacao. While in St. Maarten for the last three years, he has worked as an advisor with the St. Maarten Housing Foundation, Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Development Bank of the former Netherlands Antilles (OBNA). He is also a Supervisory Board member of the St. Maarten Pension Fund with the focus on investments and credits.
Mr. Rene Gartner looks forward to working at NV GEBE and believes that “the company and its employees have great potential to grow which will benefit St. Maarten.”
