Civil Registry Office Open on Election Day for those having problems with voting

The Civil Registry Department would like to inform the general public in connection to the election for the Members of Parliament on August 29th 2014, the Civil Registry in Philipsburg, Pond Island will be open solely to assist all persons that has issues regarding voting.

The office will be open to handle the following: no kind of identification or for a duplicate voting card if you did not receive your voting card in the mail.

All citizens that are eligible to vote must present a valid identification on the day of election August 29th 2014. You can identify yourself with the following forms of ID: VALID Passport, VALID ID card or VALID Driver’s license.

The department would like to remind all persons that applied for their ID card during the course of this week that they can collect their ID card on, Thursday, August 28 up to 7.00pm and on Friday August 29th 2014 between 08:00 am and 7.00 pm

If for any reason you haven’t received your voting card please collect this at the Civil Registry Office in Philipsburg, Pond Island.

Please have the following with you when collecting your new ID card or Driver’s license at the Civil Registry Department:

1. Old ID Card (if applicable)

2. Proof of payment (Receipt)

No other products sold or rendered by the office will be handled on August 29th.
