On Saturday July 5th at approximately 09.20 a.m. during a routine patrol in Dutch Quarter, a Philipsburg Police patrol approached a man with initials F.A.R. who was about to step into a grey colored Hyundai Accent with license plate P-2026, that was parked on the side of the road. The man started behaving quite suspicious when he saw the patrol approaching him. The man was asked to identify himself and to present the documents for the vehicle. The man confirmed that he is the owner of the vehicle and the he had recently bought it. The man could only show a copy of a test card which did not correspond with the vehicle. When the investigating officers checked the VIN-number of the vehicle it was noticeable that is was tampered with. This man was arrested on the spot of been suspected having a stolen vehicle. He was taken to the Philipsburg police station for further investigation.
