Minister of Public Health Social Development & Labor Cornelius de Weever would like to congratulate the students of St. Dominic High for the presentation they recently made on proper nutrition.
The students presented information on "genetically modified organisms"- GMO’s; eating habits in St. Maarten; obesity and diabetes; building a healthy body; Food guide’s and food diaries. Very informative and colorful handouts were given during the presentation, which took place at their school.
"I am encouraging the students at St. Dominic High to be the change in the field of proper nutrition, especially seeing that they are in charge of their canteen at school," said Minister De Weever.
