7 young men held in connection compulsory identification

During the week-end of October 4th through October 6th 2013, 7 young men, five of which are from the French Side, were held at the Philipsburg Police Station be cause they could not properly identify themselves and because they were riding scooters without helmets, license plates, didn’t have any insurance and proof of ownership. All suspects were released after identification was brought in by a family member. The scooters remained in safe keeping by the police until proper documentation is brought in.
