TelEm Group wished a safe and successful trip to Cub-Scouts and Cub-Scout leaders who called in on the company Wednesday – before leaving for the 13th Annual Caribbean Cuboree in Suriname, July 21-28.
Cub-Scout leader Mrs. Angela Richards-Huggins thanked the company for assisting with the fare for one of the cub-scout members to attend the Cuboree, which takes place every three years.
"As a gathering for cub scouts from around the Caribbean region the Cuboree provides an opportunity for our boys and girls between the ages of seven (7) and 11 to interact and experience the different cultures around them," said Mrs. Richards-Huggins.
She says the seven Cub-Scouts and three Cub-Scout leaders, who leave for Suriname today, will also benefit from lasting relationships in an environment where they can experience the full meaning of scouting.
TelEm Group Carrier Relations Officer, Angel Richardson, met with the cub and cub-leaders on behalf of management and wished them much success and a safe return home with the only condition being that they make "lots of lasting friendships."
