Boys and girls attending the "Summer Storytime with Queen Genesis Meyers" are in for a treat at the Philipsburg Jubilee Library on Saturday, July 6, from 11 AM to 12.30 PM, said Nzinga Lake, organizer of the program. The reigning "Little Miss St. Martin" Genesis Meyers, 12, will read from Lizzy Lizard, Robin Boasman’s new storybook for ages 4 to 9.

A coloring contest of Lizzy and visit from a Lizzy Lizard mascot are on the program. Furthermore, "a guest choreographer will teach the kids the Lizzy Lizard dance," said Lake, director of the Little Miss St. Martin pageant, host of the free storytelling program on Saturday. Sandwiches, cupcakes and drinks will be served for the participants. A form will be available for the children whose parents’ wish or allow them to join the planned children’s book club slated to start in the near future by the pageant organization. Author Robin Boasman is invited as a special guest to the storytime program, said Lake.
