In continuation of the 2012 St. Martin Pony League youth baseball competition yesterday the St. James Yankees played against the Cul de Sac Padres at the Marigot Ball Park and bombarded them with the score of 11- 1. The Padres started the game by scoring an early lead on St. James but St. James pitcher Aneudy Martinez was so good on the mound that he did not allow anymore runs to be scored from there on. Padres did not loose hope of tying the game and kept on trying but every time they tried pitcher Aneudy knew how to stop them. St. James was playing very much under control and scored in each inning except to the first two innings.With this victory St. James Yankees has now consolidated there position at first place with 3 games played and three games won. They are the only team that has not lost any game so far.
In the game played on Saturday afternoon on the Dump area the Dutch Quarter Dodgers defeated the I Can Braves with the score of 10 – 5 and place themselves at the third place on the chart.
