In continuation of the 2012 St. Martin Pony League youth baseball competition yesterday the St. James Yankees played against the Dutch Quarter Dodgers at the Marigot Ball Park and for most part of the game they were under tense because of great pitching of Jesus Enrique and good fielding of center fielder Kelly Feliciano.
Dutch Quarter using fast base running skills was leading the game 8 – 1 and kept this score like this until the last inning when St. James found a way to tie the game and go ahead to win the game 11 – 10. Most of St. James runs came off the bat of David Hanson who connected a homerun with two runners on base. This game was noted as one of the best games played so far and both teams were treated pizza after the game.With this win St. James is now at the top of the chart. Wednesday Cul de Sac Padres is scheduled to play Sandy Ground Mariners.
