TelEm Group thanks customers, general public for “Best Telco” award

TelEm Group management and staff this week showered messages of thanks to customers and members of the public who voted the company “Best Telco Provider” for 2018, in the Daily Herald’s Best of the Best annual awards.

TelEm Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr. Kendall Dupersoy, led the charge during a general meeting last Friday, when the announcement was officially made known to staff.
Mr. Dupersoy said he was accepting the honor of ‘Best Telco Provider” on behalf of management and staff for all the “great work” what was done behind the scenes last year, sometimes under very difficult circumstances.
“It is always good to be recognized for the efforts you make, so I am very, very pleased and proud that the efforts of so many of our staff on behalf of our customers has been recognized in such a public way,” said Mr. Dupersoy.
This is the third time in four years that the company has scooped the Top Telco award, having lost the accolades in 2017 after winning it back to back in 2015 and 2016.
After joining managers and staffers in a group picture session outside the main TelEm Group building on Pond Island following Friday’s meeting, Mr. Dupersoy said the Best of the Best Award could not have come at a better time.

“During our meeting, I reminded staff about our commitment to work as a team, not by talking the talk, but also walking the talk. I urge our team not to rest on our laurels, but to use this award to work even harder this year to provide better service to our customers and the public than ever before,” said Mr. Dupersoy.
The CEO said at the end of the day he just wants to say a big “Thank You” to TelEm Group customers and all those who voted for us and continue to support us,” said Mr. Dupersoy.
