Unkobon, the consumers association of Bonaire, got a lot of people in motion last Sunday for the nature walk she organized to celebrate the 5th anniversary. Afterwards the people were excited about the walk and praised the excellent organization of Unkobon. The consumer association showed that a successful event, independent of sponsors, could be organized with collaboration by expert volunteers. Together we are strong is Unkobon’s motto.
The union is very pleased with the result and thanks everyone who bought tickets, all participants, the newspapers, radio and television and all the staff who volunteered in organizing this walk, for their support.
Eric Booi, Secretary of Unkobon says: “I hope this event has made it possible for more people to know what Unkobon is and what Unkobon has done and still does in the interest of society on Bonaire. Become a member so that we are strong together. The contribution is $ 10 a year. ”
