“It’s Story Time” at the Jubilee Library on Saturday

“It’s Story Time,” at the Philipsburg Jubilee Library on Saturday.  The story toddler time will take place on April 22 from 10.00am to 12.00pm.  Mitsha Giterson will do the reading.

The Collective Prevention Services (CPS), a department within the Ministry of Public Health, Social Development and Labour (Ministry VSA), is the organizer of the annual activity.

The story toddler time is part of CPSs sustaining breastfeeding together campaign.

Breastfeeding is the best way to provide infants with the nutrients they need. The World Health Organization recommends exclusive breastfeeding starting within one hour after birth until a baby is six months old.

Nutritious complementary foods should then be added while continuing to breastfeed for up to two years or beyond.

For more information, you can call the Baby Clinic at 543-0295 or CPS at 542-3003 or 542-2078.
