Coast Guard along with Citro assist boat in distress

The Rescue and Coordination Center (RCC) of the Coastguard received this afternoon around 12:30 pm a report of a vessel, the ‘ Libro d’oro ‘ had engine trouble . The vessel was at that time located 3 miles east of the eastern tip of Curacao.

A Super- RHIB Coast Guard and volunteer rescue organization CITRO were called in to assist. Because the Libro d’Oro also made water, Citro took aboard the Braakman also a bilge pump with. Spot come they began to pump the water and decided to take the vessel in tow. Around 15:30 they perform safely within the Anna Bay and could moor at Curacao Marine Services .
