The Chairpersons of the First and Second Chamber

The Chairpersons of the First and Second Chamber, Ankie Broekers-Knol and Anouchka van Miltenburg, landed Monday October 21st in the afternoon on the F.D. Roosevelt Airport of St. Eustatius following a visit to Saba. They were welcomed by Island Governor, Gerald Berkel. “You immediately experience a different atmosphere on St. Eustatius”, according to the Chairpersons. The delegation, which is accompanied by Kingdom Representative Gilbert Isabella, visited the Governor de Graaff School where they received an extensive tour by the acting principal and members of the School Board.

Later in the afternoon a meeting is scheduled on the programme with the Island Council, entrepreneurs and social organizations.

The visit to Sint Eustatius is part of a visit to the entire Caribbean part of the Kingdom.
