St. Martin Pony League’s 2014 All Stars Games Continued:

Dutch Side now leading the series by defeating French Side 11 – 10

In connection with the all stars games that are now taking place between Dutch and French St.Martin on Sunday afternoon it was time for game number three of the series. Dutch St. Martin won with a score of 11 – 10. This was a game where once again a great baseball game was displayed.

The game started with Dutch Side taking an early lead of 6 – 0 in the second inning. Micheal Jean started for the French but had to leave the mound early due to the bombardment that he received from the bat of Victor Guillen who was the star of the game. In the third inning the French scored six big runs to tie the game at six. The French side then went ahead with a lead of 8 – 6 but rapidly hereafter the Dutch Side tied the game again with the score of 8 – 8. In their last at bat the French Side scored two more runs and send Jason Vasguez to the mound to close the game . It was however the bats of Victor Guillen and Joan Rodriguez that connected hits and did it for the Dutch Side to go with the second victory of the series. Dutch side now leads the series 2-1 . The series will continue this Sunday and will be open to all baseball players from both sides.
