Windies Women to clash with Pakistan in 4 ODIs & 4 T20Is

-Women’s D/N matches to be played in Caribbean for 1st time

St John’s, Antigua – World rated players Stafanie Taylor, Deandra Dottin and Anisa Mohammed will be back in action for the Windies Women as the Pakistan Women’s team will next month embark on an eight match tour of the Caribbean.

The tour will start on August 28 in St Vincent and conclude on September 11 in Guyana.

In another first for regional women’s cricket, Guyana will host the inaugural international day/night women’s match in the Caribbean.

That match will be played at the Guyana National Stadium on Saturday September 10th and another day nighter will be played the following day at the same venue. Both matches start at 6pm.

Prior to the historic day/night T20Is, four One Day Internationals will be played at the Arnos Vale Playing Field in St Vincent followed by two Twenty20 Internationals at Progress Park in Grenada.

Windies Women are currently ranked joint third (with India) on the ICC T20 ranking list while they are 6th in the ODI rankings. Pakistan are joint 5th in T20s and 8th in ODIs.
