On Tuesday January 12th a meeting between the organizers of the 2015 Heineken Regatta and Police was held. This year Heineken Regatta, which will be held from March 5th through March 8th is predicted to be larger than those events held in the previous years. This meeting was held to make sure everything goes well and also all necessary preparations have been made. The meeting was quite informative. The main topics of discussion were safety, security and traffic. A subsequent and final meeting will be held in the upcoming weeks. The organizers of the event was represented by Nila Rambajan and Barbara De Windt while the Police Department was represented by Acting Chief of Police Commissioner Carl John, Chief Inspector Benjamin Gout and Inspector Rudolph Bloeiman.
