Last week the annual Pony Baseball Caribbean Zone Meeting was held at the Zalmedina Hotel in Cartagena, Colombia. The meeting was hosted by the Colombia Pony League and the Comfenalco of Cartagena and took place from November 21 -24, 2013 .
As usual the mean topic is the upcoming Caribbean Zone Tournament. Officials of the city of Mayaguez were present at the meeting in order to submit their bid for the hosting of the Caribbean Zone Tournament and the Palomino Division World Series of 2014. In their presentation at the meeting they informed the members present that already some US $ 400.000 ,– has been approved as to host these games. Present at the meeting were Regional Directors of the Western Caribbean representing eight countries and Eastern Caribbean representing thirteen countries and League representatives of Sto. Domingo, Venezuela, Panama, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Nicaragua Aruba and St. Maarten. Gabriel Brown and Nadia Brown were the representative of The St. Martin Pony League. Gabriel Brown was also present in his capacity as eastern Caribbean regional director.
