On Monday October 14th, a delegation from Dominica comprising of the Minister of Education the Honorable Petter St. Jean, Dr. Donald Peters, President Dominica State College , Mr. Brian Meade, Chairman Board of Governors Dominica State College and the Minister’s press secretary presented the new multi-million dollar developments of the Dominica State College to the Heads of the Ministry of Education and Honorable Minister de Weever who chaired the meeting on behalf of Minister Lourens.
The Dominica State college (DSC) is the largest and most modern state of the art Educational Facility in Northeastern Caribbean, with accreditations to most of the Universities in the US, Canada and the UK.
The group took the opportunity to establish a close working relationship with the Government and people of St. Maarten. As there are several hundreds of Dominican nationals, who have been living and working in St. Maarten for years, and have children at College level years who qualify for study financing.
