St. Martin Pony League and French Baseball Federation selects seven French St. Martin players for the French National Baseball Selection
Upon proposal of the St. Martin Pony League and in close consultation with the manager of the senior selection Mr.Boris Routermondt the FFBSC in a meeting held have decided on the following St.Martin Ball players.
From the selection of fifteen names of players with French passport or nationality that has been submitted by the St. Martin Pony League seven players have been selected. The players that have been selected are to participate in an instructional camp where there will also be tryout games in a tournament that will take place from October the 3rd – 13 in St. Petersburg, Florida. The French selection will be going up against pro baseball and college teams. The pro baseball teams are from the Orioles, Pirates and the Blue Jays. In 2014 the selection will also be playing in the European Baseball Championship. All the players selected are those with French Passport and are the following.

5. Brenedy Tejada
6. Miguel Hanson
7. David van Heynigen
The St. Martin Pony League will be seeking for financial assistance from the St. Martin community to assist with the airfare for these players to be able to attend these games. Anyone whishing to assist
